  • Joe Vallejo


    Joe is a graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with over 20 years of experience in the field of IT consulting. As President and CEO of Sistema, Joe has become an expert in all things IT. He has hands-on experience handling all aspects of running an IT business including finding solutions to challenges such as staffing, project management, and producing results.

    Joe’s goal is to be a steady force, the glue in the organization. He is accountable for profit & loss results, executing the company’s business plan, and leading the Sistema team to be more successful by following EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System for Business), a complete business management system that empowers the Sistema team. Joe has lived most of his life in San Antonio, TX, and is an avid Spurs fan. Joe is a father of two children, Victoria and Joe. The Vallejo family is very involved in sports at their local CYO and spends a lot of time with their furry friends Buddy and Thor (Dogs), Ginobili (Cat), as well as raising chickens and rabbits!

  • Ernesto Cantu

    Director of Business Development

    Ernesto joined Sistema Technologies in 2015 with a focus on State & Local Government agencies. A graduate of Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Ernesto’s focus is helping our clients with their IT initiatives including Staff Augmentation and Deliverables-Based IT Services. With over 18 years of customer service and account management experience; he has been crucial to the success of Sistema’s business growth strategies.

    As the Director of Business Development, Ernesto has exemplified Sistema's core value of a strong customer service attitude. Ernesto has a passion for helping clients solve business challenges and provides end-to-end service to ensure his clients are 100% satisfied. Ernesto is a TASSCC Advisory Board Member, partnering to advance education and networking among professionals supporting Information Technology for the Texas Public Sector, and is also on the Industry Projects Committee at Austin Community College where he promotes IT courses, internships, and opportunities for future careers. In his free time, Ernesto and his wife Ljiljana enjoy traveling, going to the gym, outdoor activities and watching retro tv shows.

  • Deana Coleman

    Operations Manager

    Deana is an experienced professional who brings more than 15 years of customer service experience to her role as Operations Manager and has been with Sistema Technologies since 2017. Deana oversees the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of Sistema Technologies and serves on the company leadership team. Her diverse responsibilities included overseeing the company’s human resources, payroll, billing, and bookkeeping functions.

    Deana values integrity and transparency. She is committed to doing what is best for our clients, consultants, and company. Deana considers herself a coffee enthusiast. When she’s not keeping busy at the office, she enjoys working out, traveling, spending time with her fiancé, family, and Duncan her miniature Schnauzer.

  • Liz Flores-Perez

    Senior Vice President - Recruiting

    Liz began her recruiting career while attending the University of Texas at Dallas and quickly became a recognized recruiting leader for national consulting firms in the Dallas Market, winning numerous awards throughout her career. Originally from Eagle Pass, Liz was raised in Dallas and relocated to San Antonio where she joined Sistema Technologies as our SVP of Recruiting in 2013. In this role, she actively manages our recruiting team across our U.S. and nearshore/offshore offices in places such as San Antonio, TX; Austin, TX; and Tampa; FL. Her recruiting team fills roles for Time & Materials and Fixed Priced Projects in the IT sector within all Industries, including State and Local Government Agencies. Her extensive recruiting experience has enabled her to mentor recruiters to operate at a high level of integrity and precision when matching client requirements to candidate skill sets.

    During her personal time, Liz enjoys spending quality time with her family; her husband, their five children, and granddaughter. Her favorite sport to watch is football and her favorite NFL Team is The Dallas Cowboys. Her voice is usually gone the day after a game from cheering them on! Her son Austin is a high-functioning Autistic Young Adult, who she actively helps face challenges he encounters. Liz is very passionate about Autism Speaks and helping special needs children/adults. She also supports Peer Advocacy students who look out for other students and prevent bullying against students with disabilities.
