President

Joe is a graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with over 20 years of experience in the field of IT consulting. As President and CEO of Sistema, Joe has become an expert in all things IT. He has hands-on experience handling all aspects of running an IT business including finding solutions to challenges such as staffing, project management, and producing results.

Joe’s goal is to be a steady force, the glue in the organization. He is accountable for profit & loss results, executing the company’s business plan, and leading the Sistema team to be more successful by following EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System for Business), a complete business management system that empowers the Sistema team. Joe has lived most of his life in San Antonio, TX, and is an avid Spurs fan. Joe is a father of two children, Victoria and Joe. The Vallejo family is very involved in sports at their local CYO and spends a lot of time with their furry friends Buddy and Thor (Dogs), Ginobili (Cat), as well as raising chickens and rabbits!

IT Director

Ernesto became an integral member of Sistema Technologies in 2015, focusing his expertise on State and Local Government agencies. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, Ernesto is dedicated to assisting our clients in realizing their IT objectives, encompassing areas such as Staff Augmentation and Deliverables-Based IT Services. Leveraging a wealth of experience in customer service and account management, he has played a pivotal role in driving Sistema's strategic business expansion.

In his capacity as the IT Director, Ernesto has exemplified and embraced Sistema's foundational values, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to aiding clients in surmounting their business challenges while providing comprehensive end-to-end service. Ernesto holds the esteemed position of Vice Chair on the Advisory Board of the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications (TASSCC), forging collaborative relationships to elevate education and networking opportunities within the realm of Information Technology for the Texas Public Sector. Additionally, Ernesto actively contributes to the Industry Projects Committee at Austin Community College, championing the proliferation of IT courses, internships, and prospects for future careers.

During his leisure time, Ernesto, alongside his wife Ljiljana, derives joy from nurturing their son Tobias, all the while harboring aspirations of further exploration, both within Ljiljana's native Serbia and across other horizons.

Operations Manager

Since 2017, Deana has been driving operational excellence as the Operations Manager at Sistema Technologies. She is a skilled professional with over 17 years of customer service experience. Her role encompasses overseeing the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of the company. She takes great pride in her role and her position within the company's leadership team. Deana's diverse responsibilities include managing human resources, payroll, billing, and bookkeeping functions, making her a key asset to the organization.

At the heart of Deana’s work ethic lies a profound emphasis on integrity and transparency. She displays unwavering dedication to always acting in the best interests of the company, its clients, and consultants. Her commitment to upholding the Sistema Core Values, including being competitive, selfless, having integrity, prioritizing the customer, and demonstrating business acumen, is unwavering.

In her free time, Deana finds joy in engaging in various activities such as exercising, exploring new destinations, and cherishing quality moments with her family and two beloved canine companions, Duncan and Maverick.

Senior Vice President - Recruiting

Liz embarked on her illustrious career in recruitment while going to school at The University of Texas at Dallas, swiftly rising to prominence as a distinguished leader in the realm of National Consulting Firms within the Dynamic Dallas Market. Her exceptional abilities garnered a cascade of accolades throughout her journey. Born in Eagle Pass but firmly rooted in Dallas, Liz later made a significant move to San Antonio, where she assumed the mantle of Sistema Technologies' Senior Vice President of Recruitment in 2013.

In her current capacity, she leads the dynamic recruitment team throughout our U.S. offices (San Antonio, TX; Austin, TX; and Tampa, FL) and our strategic Nearshore/Offshore locations. Liz's Certified and Highly Skilled team adeptly fulfills vital positions for both Time & Materials and Fixed Price Projects across the IT sector, catering to diverse industries, including State and Local Government Agencies. With her profound recruitment acumen, Liz guides and mentors her team of recruiters, instilling a creed of unwavering integrity and precision as they expertly match client requisites with candidate proficiencies; “Hitting the Bullseye” and Sistema’s Core Values.

Outside the professional sphere, Liz enjoys spending quality time with her family—her husband, their five children, and a beautiful granddaughter. An ardent football enthusiast, she passionately supports The Dallas Cowboys, often rendering her voiceless after exciting and intense games. A mother to a remarkable high-functioning Autistic Young Adult named Austin, Liz actively champions his endeavors, surmounting challenges with resolute determination. Her advocacy extends to her fervent support for Autism Speaks and her dedicated commitment to aiding individuals with special needs. Additionally, she champions Peer Advocacy students, valiantly combating bullying against those with disabilities.
