Description of Services:
  • Asset Management:
    • Assist with the maintenance, inventory, and coordinate the transfer or disposal of agency-owned assets in accordance with state property accounting requirements and systems.
    • Must be flexible to travel to all DIR sites (Austin locations and San Antonio).
  • Inventory and Asset Management Procedures and Compliance:
    • Analyze internal inventory and asset management processes.
    • Provide technical assistance and recommendations and implement agency-wide process changes around asset management and supply purchases.
    • Conduct periodic inventory compliance checks; reconciles inventory records with asset accounting records and resolves inventory-reporting discrepancies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding
  • Manage and oversee DIR's Asset Management systems.
  • Responsible for inventory and Asset Management procedures and Compliance.
  • Streamline asset management processes and policies to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date asset inventory records.
  • Assist IT and Admin teams with equipment rollouts and inventories.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with information technologies, databases, and systems analysis.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in IT asset management, inventory control, and tracking.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Driver’s license to travel to other DIR sites.
Preferred:
  • Experienced with CAPPS and/or SPA asset management systems.
  • Experienced with ServiceNow Asset Management system.
Work Location: Onsite at WPC and flexible to travel to all DIR sites.

  5 Required Provides technical assistance in the development and preparation of contracts and amendments
  5 Required Reviews contracts and related amendments and verifies that contract data meets legal and fiscal requirements.
  5 Required Reviews reports of statistical information and ensures that data accurately reflects the status of contract activity.
  5 Required Maintains and reviews contract files and reviews and/or verifies contract data included in contract management database.
  5 Preferred Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret technical information; to make tabulations; to identify problems and plan corrective actions; to understand and follow instructions; to gather specific data from documentation system
