Definition: IT Assessments and Planning may include IT effectiveness, maturity, governance, project management and architecture. Strategic planning activities may include mission statement development, visioning and goals, objectives, and strategy development.  Tactical planning may require that actionable plans and roadmaps be provided.

Examples of included services: IT assessments, including enterprise architecture; staff knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) assessments; bandwidth assessments, network performance and strategic and tactical planning.

Information Technology Assessment & Planning Case Study:

Sistema was hired by the Office of the Commissioner of Consumer Credit (OCCC) to study the process and technology at the OCCC to help make it easier for citizens and other businesses to interact with the OCCC, improve operational efficiencies, create synergy within the OCCC and with other agencies, and incorporate innovative processes made possible by the latest technologies while enhancing security, mobile support, reporting and Business Intelligence.

Sistema Technologies was brought in to perform an assessment that included a Business Process study, IT Architectural assessment, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery process study and to provide an ideal future state along with a roadmap of how to get to the future state.

Sistema Technologies performed multiple rounds of interviews with business users, technical stakeholders and the sponsor to arrive at an outsider perspective of the processes and technology at OCCC.  We then delivered over a dozen technical and process artifacts along with a vividly described future state and a detailed roadmap.
